What is Tapcast?
Tapcast is an app for iPhone that combines your camera and the web, so you can deliver rich video experiences that engage your fans with ease. You can livestream your camera and anything online at the same time while you interact with fans and move them to action.
Where can I get Tapcast?
Tapcast is available on the US App Store and App Store Canada. Tapcast is currently not available for Android. To be one of the first to know when Tapcast is available for Android, follow us on Twitter @Tapcast and check out our company blog.

How do I create an account?
To create an account, open Tapcast on your iPhone or iPad and log in with your Twitter or Facebook account.
Do I need to have a Twitter or Facebook account to use Tapcast?
While, you do not need an account to view casts, to start a cast of your own, you need either a Twitter or Facebook account to log into the app. Don’t worry we won't post anything without your permission.
What devices and browsers are supported?
Viewing a Cast: You can view a cast in the Tapcast app on an iPhone or iPad. You can also watch casts from a shared link on a Mac or PC in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Starting a Cast: To start a cast, you currently can use an iPhone (recommended) or iPad.

How to I make a cast?
Start creating with these steps:
Tap the target to go to the React screen.
Tap an icon to browse online or enter a URL into the address bar.
To go live, tap the Invite button and add live viewers.
To record, tap REC to start recording. Tap REC again to stop.
How do I end a cast?
To end a cast, tap the "X" in the upper left of the screen. If you're recording your cast, tap "REC" again to stop recording and end your cast.
How do I record my cast?
Once you start a cast, tap the "REC" button in the footer.
How do change my camera in a cast?
Use the app camera controls to adjust your camera. You can move, zoom, flip, and go fullscreen. Tap the pink camera icon to hide your camera.
How many people can share their camera in a Tapcast cast? How do I add another camera to my cast?
Currently, two people can share their camera in a live cast. Here's how:
During a cast, tap the top right corner of the app to show the list of viewers.
Tap on the viewer to whom you'd like to give permission.
Tap "Camera & Pen" to grant them camera and pen permissions. Tap "Ok". The viewer must tap "Accept."
Only iOS guests with the Tapcast app installed will have the ability to share their camera in a cast. You can invite one guest at a time to share a camera in your cast.
How do I delete a clip?
To delete a clip, tap your profile picture in the footer to go to "My Tapcast" > Tap the three-dot icon next to the title of the clip you'd like to delete for more options > Tap "Delete Cast."
Viewers, Sharing, and Privacy
How do I start a private cast?
Casts are private by default. To make your cast public, tap the "Invite" button in the upper right and tap "Public." To make a recorded cast public, tap your profile picture in the footer to go to "My Tapcast" > Tap the three-dot icon next to the title of the clip for more options > Tap the center icon to change "who can view this cast" > Tap "Public." Publicly shared casts will show in the app's Home Feed for the Tapcast Community to enjoy and heart.
How do I post or prevent posting to Twitter and Facebook?
Tapcast doesn't automatically post anything to Twitter or Facebook. You can share a link to a recording from the "Share" page in the app after you end a recording.
How many people can be in a Tapcast cast?
Though the app is designed for unlimited viewers, casts are currently limited to 25 people to control quality in the soft launch phase. Follow us on Twitter @Tapcast to find out when we increase this limit.
Who sees my saved Tapcast clips (recordings)?
Recorded clips from a public cast will post to the app’s Home Feed. Clips from private casts will only be viewable by those with a secret link.
